Terms of Use

All non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, private enterprises, volunteers, and visitors to the Site (collectively referred to as “Authorized Users,” and each is individually a “Authorized User”) are subject to the “Terms” of service. By using the Service, the Authorized User agrees to be bound by the Terms. We reserve the right to cancel an Authorized User’s account or usage of the Service for any reason, including if they breach these Terms. Capitalized terms that are not defined are used as described in the Privacy Policy or Service Provider Agreement.

A. Your responsibilities

The Authorized User agrees not to resell or exploit any part of the Service or Site for commercial or non-commercial reasons. Authorized Users must obtain our written permission to: 

• Send unsolicited commercial advertising via email, 
• Use automated means to access the Service, 
• Display pop-up windows,
• Violate our Privacy Policy. Authorized Users must furnish us with correct and up-to-date information.

Authorized Users must not use the Service to: 

• Violate local, state, national, or international law, 
• Impersonate or misrepresent their affiliation, 
• Stalk, harass, or harm another individual, 
• Promote hatred, violence, or racial intolerance, 
• Collect or store personal data about other Authorized Users, 
• Disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations.

B. Privacy

The Privacy Policy requires Authorized Users to give particular personal data to us (“Personal Data”). All uses of Authorized User Personal Data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Site and Service, Authorized Users agree to our Privacy Policy. If an Authorized User objects to the use of their information as specified in the Privacy Policy, they can discontinue using the Site and Service.

C. Data Security and Monitoring

Authorized Users provide data about volunteer opportunities, organization contact information, and news. As a result, we have no editorial control over such data. Authorized Users contribute their own data, services, offers, and information, not Lending Hands Foundation’s.. We do not guarantee the correctness of any data, and reserve the right to edit, update, or remove it at any time. We reserve the right, but not the duty, to monitor and review data and Authorized Users’ accounts for compliance with these Terms, laws, or regulations.
